With over 2 years in the fitness industry and working out in some capacity for most of her life, Janna specializes in training legs and focusing on form, but her true superpower is creating a space where women feel strong, seen, and just the right amount of sass supported. A wife, mom, and proud girls’-girl raising two more, she’s committed to breaking the old idea that being “ladylike” means being delicate. After watching generations of women shrink themselves to fit expectations, she made the choice to take up space — strong body, strong personality, and all.
She loves pushing her class through moments they swear they “can’t do,” then watching that doubt fall away (usually while they’re loudly cursing her name). For her, there’s nothing like the community that comes from sweating, struggling, and succeeding together. Not Your Typical Gym is the home she’s proud to help build — a place where women show up, support each other, and get stronger every single day.
When she’s not coaching, Janna enjoys hanging with her family and pouring into the women around her. Her mission is simple: help women feel powerful, confident, and fully aware of just how capable they really are.
